Every time I try to play the card, I get the same request to pay the food cost. I have a screenshot but do not wish to use imgur.com to post it. Let me know if there's an alternate way to do so.

Update: I finally played the Turkey Vulture, and the food cost is correct. So this is no longer a bug and is instead an interface confusion issue.

Therefore I'd like to suggest that the interface could be a little clearer regarding food cost -- in fact, when I play any other bird, the interface autofills the food cost. I think maybe it shouldn't do that - I was not actually clear on whether the remaining food tokens reflected what I had left before or after I paid the cost that was autofilled.

I like the option to autofill, but I think it shoudn't be the default behavior.

And in the case of the rare birds with no food cost, it might help to make it more explicit that there is no food cost.

The bird card shows circle with slash which I take to be zero food cost but when I play the bite it requires food. Maybe the wrong icon is shown

I forgot to mention it was on California Condor, it has happened in two games. I am using Edge 120.x (x64) on Win 10 .

The interface has been improved in the December update to show "Confirm (no food cost)" for birds with no food cost to clarify that the button is only being used to confirm playing a bird.
