Agreed, there's no rules reason why you should have to commit to passing if you change your mind before it comes back to you.

Overlooked action card options, but too late the moment "confirmed" (too many confirm buttons on this as well). No one likes to be kept waiting, but no one likes to be rushed into error either.

Until this suggestion is implemented I'll just make a personal rule never to use auto-pass. It has personal risk and only benefits the community. Easy trade-off.

I would definitely not recommend using it unless there is 100% certainty that "pass" is going to be the next decision made.

Implementing an Undo for this should not be a problem though. :)

advance pass is not in the rules, it's just a QoL. I agree with the suggestion; sometimes it looks like you have nothing to do, then your opponent surprises you with something that allows you to do stuff.

Well.

"advance pass" is saying, "I have no plans to do anything else this generation."

If you have cards that you might wish t play depending on what your opponent does .. then don't click auto pass.

What is the point of clicking Auto-pass in this situation? If player A is going to wait to see what the player B does so that player A can decide whether to keep auto-pass selected... then why not just ... wait to see what the opponent does, and then pass if nothing has changed?

Am I missing something here? If the plan is to remain at the computer and observe the opponent's next action to decide whether to keep auto-pass engaged, then why do it in the first place?

I figured Auto-pass was for players who are calling it a night and don't want the game to be sitting their on their turn for hours.

If that's not the case, and a player plans to see what the other player does next - then, we already have in place what people are asking for. Just wait to see what the opponent does next. Something that changes your plan? Okay, you don't have to pass. Nothin that changed your plan? Pass.

Besides, If auto pass is engaged, how would that player have time to see what the opponent does and then decide to cancel autopass and click it in time? As soon as the opponent makes the move, auto-pass will engage.

the people I play with use it as a "I'm done, let me make a cup of tea"; I'll hang back on discord and chat. So, one's at the computer - waiting on the next gen.
