This is a definite flaw. It renders the smokescreen card useless. The point of smokescreen is to play it, then let players resist and pick up cards so the alien doesn't know what players now have available. Only the game log declares everything the players pick up and the alien can then target accordingly. As the OP above, the alien needs to lose access to the game log and replay while smokescreen is in effect. It matters less for old moves than for resisting that takes place after smokescreen is played, but far better to temporarily remove the log history altogether.
