I would love for game developers to support dark mode themes similar to how the unofficial bga browser extensions does it for most games: boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30509

I agree on the need for dark mode!

I created a custom CSS file for myself that creates a dark theme using an older version of material's color palette. But not everyone can do that, and the site (rightfully) discourages sharing. Also, my work isn't perfect (though it is good enough that I mostly no longer mess with it). Furthermore it has to be turned off when I want to do things like view bug reports. So it would be nice to have a more fully supported option.

A dark mode exists if the internet explorer has it (like samsung explor. But all pictures and selection squares are difficult to read and distinguish:

Many people use add-ons like Dark Background or Darkmod on browsers to get a dark mode. But BGA is incompatible, because the game areas display poorly. Maybe, if you put a border around the game area and images, it would at least hide all the white areas around it, so painful to the eyes? Or, at least a neutral colored background instead of white on the background of the site? We would really appreciate it.

Dark mode is a must-have nowadays, on any website, phone app, and basically any PC/phone screen is used! Pls do!

Note that various 3rd party browser dark-mode plugins do misprocess images or even text (like dark text on darkened background) , so we really a NATIVE dark mode without visual artifacts!
