Hoghlighting scoring areas is cool, but the color-coding seems a little bit off to me (playing on Windows with Microsoft Edge and Android with Chrome): 1s are player color, 2s are player color but darker, 3s are player color but lighter than 1s, 4s are darker than 2s again (but only very slightly), 5s are white and 6s are just as dark as 4s (maybe a little darker).
Maybe either use this system of darkening player color by ascending number, but in the right order, or just use entirely different colors that are easily ditinguishable from each other alltogether, without regard for player color?

yeah, it was an idea to change the tint and shade of the player color.
I changed it to a fixed color list which is better distinguishable.

The colors on the player's board update in real time (so if a valid group is made, it gains color, and if a valid group is expanded on, it loses its color), but this doesn't seem to apply to the opponents' boards. A page refresh is needed to update those.
