J'avais un compte BGA avec le pseudo Zouloubof que j'ai supprimé.
Avec le même email, j'ai recréé un compte BGA avac mon pseudo actuel Alain_LVL.

Lorsque je clique sur "FORUM", j'obtient le message d'erreur :

Failed to autologin on PhpBB for player Alain_LVL (phpbb username = Zouloubof) LOGIN_ERROR_USERNAME

Same thing is happening to me, whenever I click on the Forum link or in the comments link of a news article:

I just found that this bug maybe is related to this other bug: boardgamearena.com/bug?id=9357 seems like it was solved manually:

There was an email conflict between your previous account Absolem and your new account andsemenoff. I fixed it manually.

Do you guys register the first time using GoogleAccount/Facebook, and then later in order to change the name you had to change to email registration? This is what I did maybe the bug is because of this behaviour.

Hi can someone help us with this please? I can not use the forums because of this, it is a permanent error and I can not create a new account because I have premium for a year.

Checked this and it was already ok for JackTorrents

I fixed it for Alain_LVL and KarlosWithK (manual resync)

Many other reports have been posted for this same issue. (They all have the same error message pasted in). Several (including mine) have been automatically closed after never being addressed. It is still affecting me and apparently many others. If there is no systematic fix could an admin at least fix it for us as they have for others? I have been unable to use the forums at all for years now and it is a very severe issue. Thanks.

yes it's a recurring issue we have related to username changes. some time ago i have fixed all reporting player in the comments but forgot to update the ticket as "confirmed". i have now fixed the latest players that have commented (@Flan and @Jacek554768) and updated the ticket, thank you for your patience :)

But please remember to contact boardgamearena.com/support to request your forum issue to be fixed! This report is only useful to admins to track the issue, not fixing affected players!

I'm having the same problem. I'm no longer able to use the forum after changing my name.
