I was trying to load the English - English page for Linie 1 boardgamearena.com/translation?module_id=2329&source_locale=en_US&dest_locale=en_US&findtype=all several times and each time got this error message:

Similar issue happened today every time when trying to translate any game from English to Polish. (Other combinations seem to work fine, even Polish to English.)

I did retry, several time, with different game, at different time (morning, evening, today, yesterday). It is a permanent problem, not just temporary.

This is becoming very annoying.
I translated a lot of text already, but I'm starting to do less just because often it takes a dozen tries to get the page to just load again.
It looks like the connection times out after about 5 seconds, so maybe extending that time to 10 seconds would diminish the number of times it really fails?

The translation pages on the main site load fine, but there seem to be errors on the translation pages for each games.

Can confirm. I have tried it multiple times for different games in the last few days and I always get an error. It seems that at least for the German translations this is the case for everybody since the number of needed translations hasn't changed at all as well.

The bug does not only prevent volunteers from translating games, it also prevents us from translating news articles on boardgamearena.com/headlines

That means, each new release (and there are two or more each week) will only be announced in English.
