This happened my game as well - Lorenzo il Magnifico #686898216 move 114. 3 coins in hand, Patron does not let me purchase a 4 coin blue card (I have Filippo Brunelleschi, so don't have to pay the extra). For some reason the card effect text does not state the 2 coin discount. That not being applied seems to be the error based on other submissions. (Also possible for this instance that it is stopping the play as I already have a coloured worker in the column, or it isn't recognising the leader discount.)

Some problem as above. The two coin discount is applied nor is the two coin discount mentioned in the pop-up window for the card.

The issue is not that the card performs differently than stated in the rulebook.

The issue is: There Is a Misprint on the Card. The card shows a -2 coin discount. But the rules do not agree.

Update the art file so the card does not display a -2 coin discount.

I cannot take either of the Blue Character cards.

From the rulebook (example):
In addition, you
can perform an action at value 4 to take
a card of any type without placing a
Family Member. (You can change the
action value with servants and cards
effects.) Pay 3 additional coins if the
tower is already occupied (also through yourself!) and take the
bonus resources from the third/fourth
floor. (See page 7.)
