Have had the same problem happen to two games with friends. We play weekly and in some cases we want to interrupt a longer game in the middle and continue a week later. This actually used to work before, where we had a game unfinished for over a month. But a couple of weeks ago the same game (Keyflower) got automatically abandoned during the night. I contacted BGA about it through the contact page, but got no reply at all :( Yesterday we interrupted another game mid-play (King's Guild) and the same happened again. This really breaks our style of play and make it almost impossible for us to play any games that take us a bit more time to finish.

Because there are two no limit, if the first "after slow real time" is after 4 hours, but the second at the end of the list, you get max 40 days before closing.

@Claude if that's the case they shouldn't be called no limit because there is a limit

This game was last Monday (we play every Monday with the same group), so less then 2 days (and way fewer than 40 days).

How long does a game table stay open if nobody plays anymore?
When nobody has been playing at a game table for a while, it is closed automatically to free up server resources:
A real-time table is closed automatically if more than 4 hours have elapsed since its creation and if all players at this table are now offline.
A turn-based table is closed automatically if no move has been played during the last 40 days.

Would you be able to create your games as turn-based? It appears this would work for your group.

This is *terrible* UI: The game speed dropdown has two **identically-named** entries called "No time limit • recommended with friends only", but apparently one is 'realtime' and will shut your game down after 4hrs, while the other is *actually* no time limit (or much closer anyway - 40 days)?? Also if you switch the Game Mode to "Training mode", there is no longer any way to pick the game speed; the mode description says it's no time limit but apparently it's the fake 4hrs no time limit :(
