At the end of the 4 player game, three of us all received 2nd place, but one of the players had two spots left to fill, and myself and another had only one spot left to fill.

It would make sense to rank the remaining players, like in Kingdomino.

Hi, it's not a bug, it's just that the official rules only determine the winner and no further places (in single round games), but the author probably never thought that the game would be played on a more competitive level :)

But I talked to the publisher and will deal with this issue after the official tournaments this weekend.

At the same time, it would be nice if the running score during the game was equal to the number of placed tiles. This would achieve the purpose of this post (end game placement is based on the number of placed tiles), and also show you during the game the current status without having to count each player's tiles.

The number of placed tiles is already displayed on the players boards, next to the small clover ( XX / 16)

I agree completely that the standings, especially in this points earning format, should be 2nd 3rd and 4th in multi player when there are not ties
