In the single player mode, switch hand was possible, when nothing fittet

The number of the table I wrote ist an other Bandido table, because I do not know the numer of the former game.

We couldn't switch hands in our last game. I don't know if the option was available, but we were forced to play an illegal hand that created a 1x1 hole. I guess it decided that was legal? It game over'd us immediately afterwards.

ähnliches passierte bei uns im 2-Spieler-Spiel:

keine passenden Stellen mehr für die Kartenteile auf der Hand, aber die Handkarten konnten nicht abgeworfen werden, um dadurch neue (hoffentlich) passende Teile zu bekommen.

(Einmal bei einem extrem ausladenden Spiel versagte uns das Spiel manchmal sogar passende/gültige Teile zu setzen -- zwischendurch das Teil gedreht ging es das eine oder andere Mal noch, aber irgendwann konnte ich überhaupt kein Teile mehr ansetzen, weder um offene Stellen zu schließen noch irgendwo das Spielfeld auszudehnen...)

Unfortunately, we have no ability to do that using action elements (clickable icons, buttons or etc)

Je ne peux pas échanger mes cartes comme indiqué dans les règles. Ce qui fait qu’on ne peut jamais gagner, vu qu’on est obligé de poser une carte même si ça ne convient pas.

I've had the same issue shown by JohnFrolov. During other player's turn I saw "playerX must play a card or change their hand" but in my turn I only see "you must play a card". I haven't seen ever an option for changing my hand.

we had a similar issue: a card had to be played - although it was clear that then an other "end" cannot be filled as there was no space free for a further card. (only half of a cardI
it was not possible to change the cards.
-> the game was lost.

Same problem, all the available moves would create a "square" empty area, is this a case where the player can switch the hand?

Refresh didn't solved the problem

Suggestion: I think that the rules should be updated with the no square rule and also explaining when is possible to change the hand.

No. If you can play a card, you must, even if that makes the game unwinnable.

If I play a card which is against the rules (in this case, blocking an exit), then the game should let me change hands. I would not play this card in real life.

F5 didn't change anything

The cross with a dead end was tthe only playable card. We only played one . Victory was ours.
"swith hand" was unreachable for my game partner.
We had to quit the game

Do we have to play cards that fit, but will cause us to lose the game?
You may only discard and re-draw if the card cannot be played legally. Otherwise you have to play a card, even if you know that it makes winning the game impossible.
