I thought this was a rules bug at first (allowing a move that splits the hive), but the replay doesn't show the failed move.

boardgamearena.com/bug?id=15734 sounds like the same thing: a player made a move which appeared in the UI but not in the replay.

I've had the same bug happen to me in boardgamearena.com/table?table=137971569

At move 29 I moved an ant to the top of the Hive. The move was shown in my UI, but not registered in the server. I was asked to move again, this time the grasshopper, which is the move shown in the game log. For the rest of the game the ant appeared where I had moved it, but was not taken into account by the game rules.

I had the same thing happen, where I had apparently moved an ant. But when I viewed the replay it didn't show my ant as having moved. Hive #174669365 - at the end of the game when my opponent (ReZa Tak) moved his grasshopper I appeared to have an ant completely disconnected from the Hive.

Around move 27-ish my opponent moved the queen out of the pocket to the right (imgur.com/9mERytR), when I moved my Ant in move 29, the hive appeared to be broken to my opponent.

Also, this might be a dupe of boardgamearena.com/bug?id=16020

I had a similar experience. Table #190636176 Move #12 (but doesn't show in log).

I moved my spider up against the black queen. It showed the move as completed, yet it still prompted for me to make a move. I hadn't seen opponents move, but they're new, so thought perhaps they'd messed up somehow. So I made another move, which was to place the beetle. (That's the move that actually shows up in the log.)

At move 15, I tried to move my ant, with the board showing my spider immediately below it, but it didn't move around the board as I would have expected. So I cancelled that move, refreshed the screen, and the spider was back in its original position at the bottom of the board. I made the move that I had intended to (tried to) make at move 12.

The game proceeded normally after that point.
