This not a bug. Don't click on a card, if you don't fulfil the conditions to trigger its wished effect.

This absolutely IS a bug. If you were playing the game in real life, and you said, I am going to use tree of life, tapped the card and said, "Oh, wait, I don't have enough crystals!" The other players would not say, "Well, you SAID you were going to use tree of life, so now you HAVE to, mwahahaha!" Well, if they did, you would not play with them again. The Seasons game on BGA should have an implementation where if you have not finished your action, you can go backwards and retrace your steps. This would make it more like the game in real life. At the very least, this card should have a cancel option.

The reason for closing this report is totally inappropriate, because this bug is related to the activation mode of the only Power cards that have several effects, and not to all Power cards.

When you click on a card with several effects, it is abnormal to consider it tapped, because you do not tap a card, but trigger an effect which taps the card.
Therefore, it is imperative that the player chooses the effect from among all possible effects, thus achievable, before the card is tapped. It is then easy to foresee a possible cancellation at the time of this choice.
