I had this happen to me at the end of a 5-person game. All of the desert terrain had been built on, but I was required to place 3 pieces; I could only place 2. The game wouldn't allow me to do anything. I was forced to quit.

Il m'arrive de plus rien pouvoir faire et je sors du jeu rerentre et en principe, ça marche, mais mon temps est écoulé et on m'excut du jeu. Je vais plus jouer à ce jeu... même les partie finis me pénalisent !!!

We had the same issue. It said I must build on desert but there was no desert left. There was no way out. All I could do was get the other players to kick me out when i was out of time. I have a screen shot but I'm not prepared to sign up to Imgur (whatever that is)

Ich war am Zug, sollte auf Gras setzen, aber es war leider nicht möglich. Die leeren Grasfelder wurden gar nicht markiert.
