There were already created bugs in Bandido boardgamearena.com/bug?id=36143 and Thermopyles boardgamearena.com/bug?id=13266 but as the root cause is 8700 elo limitation I decided to create this global bug because it affects all games and is not game specific.

I am able to play now, bug is fixed! Elo limit will stay 8700 though, but at least games are not stuck anymore.

Fixed. 8700 is the upper limit, but gameresults are now correctly registered even if that limit is reached.

There shouldn't be an ELO limit. Let people compete and gain ELO in games they love. I spent years trying to get the #1 spot in Themopyles but all that time was wasted by this capricious ELO limit.

ELO is supposed to be a statistical distribution. Its highest value in chess is about 3000. The 8700 limit is a more than generous excess over what makes any mathematical sense.
