Draw 3 Play 2 "Discard the last card" did not happen right away. I played "Let's do that again". three new cards were added to the one that was not discarded so it appeared I could choose among the 4 cards

The Draw 3, Play 2 has not been resolved completely yet, and technically it should not really be in the discard pile until it is fully completed.
Will have to look into this...
