On table #17122453, when I completed the three end game conditions, the system asked me whether I wanted to announce the end of the game or not. On table #17167683, it did not.

I had two or three games where the game ended without a player requesting so. The last to date is table #38472881

no prompt, and only 2 objectives on the 3 was reached for Maeve.

This is caused by how you end your turn after completing the 3 objectives.

After clicking "or End turn"

Closing the pop-up only closes it.
"Cancel" ends your turn without announcing the end
"I confirm" announces the end

The pop-up now says:

You have completed all the objectives! Click "I Confirm" to Announce the end of the game. Click "Cancel" to end your turn.

Just started using the Palaces of Carrara on BGA as well, but my co-players (who won) did not get the opportunity to announce the end of the game either... the system decided for them...
and that's not how it is intended to be...

Can we please change the wording on the endgame trigger prompt to “Announce end of the game” and “DO NOT announce end of the game” instead of “I confirm” and “Cancel”. On my first game I clicked “I confirm” after purchasing an object for 10 money. I assumed I was confirming the purchase not the announcement of the end game. Seems like I’m not the only one that has made this mistake.
