Happened during this tournament : fr.boardgamearena.com/#!tournament?id=2513

Refresh didn't help.
Trying another browser (Firefox), didn't help.
We (all players of the tournament), were able to discuss in the tournament page. We were all having same problems (didn't see the other's screen but seemed like same global problem or all). To fellow players, please say it if what you see on my screenshot isn't similar to your problem.

We ended up all quitting the games.
As one player quits, the game isn't terminated automatically (so 2nd player has to quit too.
Seeing the quitting penalties being removed would be fair :)

Strange thing I just noticed : my opponent (Melchior), quitted the game before I did, but on the tournament page, it seems like he got the win ...

I confirm. My screen looked quite similar to this but i was Inspector and there were no suspects at all - only black arrows. Hmm.. as I remember my playing character was already determined like if i was Killer. It was strange too.

Same experience as scinque. I was inspector, got the empty board with the arrows and the predetermined character.

F5, navigating away and back did not solve the issue, it was there every time.

Also, it would be nice if the hits could be removed for quitting these games since you can't play.

It sure looks the tournament system is trying to create a 3-player game.

Having a look in the developer tools console, it appears that we have an invalid empty 3rd player:

Hi,

This bug was linked to the very specific asymetric options for this game, that was killing the system in tournament mode by creating a 3rd "ghost" player ...

It has been fixed now, but it will be very difficult to recover from existing tournaments game.

In consequence, the ongoing tournament will be canceled, so you can start a fresh new one.
