I played a few rounds of games of llama, but this is the first time it happened to me. In this game specifically it was a recurring issue.

refreshing fixed the problem but it happens every time I have to play a llama

I just ran into this - I noticed that sometimes at the top there was a message "xxx must play a 6 or a llama" and sometimes it said "xxx must play a 6 or a [asian language characters]."

So maybe something to do with languages? Hope it helps. boardgamearena.com/table?table=190504318

currently getting the japanese(?) character message in game boardgamearena.com/5/lama?table=190511191. On my turn I see "you may play 1/5/6 or (characters)" but when it's someone else's turn it says "X may play a 6 or llama"

Got the same. Had two llama and only could draw or leave.. also first time so maybe update made a mistake?

Couldn't place a Llama on top of a 6.
The place a Llama button didnét show.
Plus "Llama" was translated in random langages in the grey bar.

I had the same problem for the first time. L.A.M.A was translated in some signs (looked like chinese, japonese or other language) and I was neither able to play my L.A.M.A card or one, neither was I allowed to draw a card. Myself and another player both had to quit while the third player was able to finish the game. Following round in the same game was similar, all cards were playable, L.A.M.A not.

This is a strange one. I can't see it. I have done a fix I hope will make it better. Please let me know. It's definitly something to do with translations.

Played a full game in Japanese (I don't read japanese), things seemed to work. It's very late here, headed to bed.

I just played 3 games and didn't see the issue again.

I am not sure, if this is the same problem, but in two games yesterday, we were at the beginning of a round not able to play a card, although we had a fitting card.
Refereshing the game could fix the problem and the button for the fitting card appeared at the top

The problem however does not occur every round...
