hi, as discussed in chat, I understand your suggestion, but the Arena format is not something the game developer can decide or change.
It has to be done by the BGA admins, and a few months ago they introduced the "game guru" concept: for every game, most active players are assigned as game guru and they can vote for the next Arena format

Unfortunately votes for Arena season 8 are already closed (and remains as is for Klaverjassen)

But as developer I do have access to the game guru page, so I will log the suggestion for you when the format for Arena 9 can be voted on

Ok, proposals for the next arena season are possible again.
So I have logged this suggestion on your behalf.
I checked if it was possible to add you directly to the Klaverjassen guru group, but unfortunately I can’t don that.
Not sure what the BGA rules for gurus are exactly, if you really want maybe you can make a request directly to BGA admins to be added to the guru group.

For me I think this is *really* great, but what do others think ?

Not much feedback as there are not that many players.
But yes, the suggestion was approved and it is currently the active option in Arena Season 9
