On variant, you have to click on column where you want to place your tiles, then you can confirm.

What happens when you click on a dashed red cell on the wall ?

I, too, am often frozen while playing Azul to the point now where I doubt I will play again. Hate getting my karma dinged thru no fault of my own.

Couldn’t even press F5. I could not do anything. I’m playing from my iPad. No issues playing other games.

I can play game on GameBoardArena for hours. However, every time I try to play Azul, the game freezes on someone else's turn and then I get a notice that I was expelled from the game for being out of time. Then the game asks "are you connected to the internet?" So far this is the only game that gives me any issues

Playing regularly as normal and then decided to freeze. It kept asking if i was connected to wifi, which I was the entire time and able to use other browsers during that time. Ran out of time and eventually booted me because it couldn't connect to server to finish the move I was in the middle of making.

This is probably a temporary BGA server issue, nothing I can do (or maybe a connectivity issue on your side ?).
