Just experienced this bug today too, table 276708060, still ongoing so not sure move number.

I cracked the keypad with guard on 4th tries and still had 4 actual moves to do. That doesn't feel right. I believe acrobat ability should be used up even if keypad didn't open, they shouldn't be able to keep trying indefinitely. At the very least it should take a regular action away so it's max 5 (4 regular + special acrobat move) total.

well, i think this is an edge case and i couldn't find any answer on the FAQ or on BGG forums, did you find anything official?

I also haven't been able to find anything official. My gut feeling is that it shouldn't be allowed though, why even try the keypad if you can try indefinitely, then the character should just say keypad doesn't apply, right?

yes you are right, i eventually chose to handle this way: if the acrobat attempt fails, it costs 1 action, if it succeeds and the Guard is in the room, the ability works and it costs 0 action to enter the Keypad room

will push this fix this evening with several other bug fixes

If I understood the fix, that now mean if you got an unknown tile where the guard is present, and are adjacent to the guard, and have exactly 1 action left, you can't be sure of being able to move accross the guard.

Which... Is interresting, and can lost some games :p

Yes. That’s true. That can be tricky when the tile is uncovered.

Ran into this problem on table 335481041
Not sure why the acrobat doesn't just move into the keypad space without actually opening it, similar to the way he can enter a fingerprint space without triggering it if the guard is there.
