I understand it's Alpha and needs a lot of tweaks.
The visuals are nice (nicer then the regular Go implemantation), but markings around the board and last place stone would make it better

The coordinates (markings around the board) are an option that is turned off by default. You can turn that on, as well as an option to show legal placements, from the menu. I hope you will find that sufficient.

Yes, now it's easier to determine. Thank you, would not have considered the options part in the menu.
The legal placements is really a big help for beginners i would presume. it makes easier to understand what shapes are bennificial.

Coordinates can be turned on in the menu, as well as legal move highlighting.

I might also suggest that a marker for the last move played would be useful, specifically for example in the following situation: playing a correspondence game (turn-based) on mobile.

There it doesn't seem to display the move log, so you can see the coordinates of the last move played, and if you have several games or play only a move or two a day, it might be hard to spot the new move on mobile.
