The box sides are currently 60 pixels long, which means that two parallel sides are separated by at least 60 pixels; at least on Android, guidelines strongly suggest at least 48 pixel separations and we are definitely above that...

Anyway, you do think of a personal preference, rather than a setup option. Something you may turn on when playing on smaller device gaining on precision, while yours opponent (or yourself another time) could keep it off while playing on something larger, gaining in speed; correct?

Something along this (rather standard, but it is better to agree on specs beforehand):

Once you select a box side, nothing is sent to the server yet, rather two buttons are shown with a choice between "Cancel" and "Confirm";
- "Cancel" de-selects the selected side and gets ready for another selection;
- "Confirm" sends the selection to the server and moves to the next game state.

Right now it seems to me of a somewhat low priority, but let's hope for more votes!

Added a personal preference to allow choosing between three ways of confirming the click:

- no confirmation at all (as before): the selection is automatically accepted

- two buttons "Cancel" / "Confirm" in the action bar

- by clicking again the same side box to confirm or clicking any other side to cancel and start again.

The selected side is coloured with the player colour during the confirming/canceling process to make it visible.

@JhonnaNiver: as there already is an option to activate a two-button choice ("Cancel"/"Confirm") after a selection, I do not understand your suggestion: are you proposing a different wording of the button labels?
