« All problems will be solved if horn activates last. » => All but heart of argos (if you had 7 energies + heart of argos energy, the game will ask you to discard a token before you can use the horn).
But I agree that the current priority mechanism is not correct (as you described in this bug).

If you have 2 energy and the Beggar's horn, you might actually want to use the horn of plenty first to have 1 energy and thus also gain the benefit from the beggar's horn.

And the example above. So yeah not all problems will be solved if the horn of plenty goes last, period. It can be quite conditional whether it is prefered or not.

So yeah this is a rahter difficult problem faced when coding this game. I guess we'd have to learn the order in which the cards activate and adapt. =]

The whole problem is the timing of end of turn effects. The current player is supposed to be able to choose the order of the effects that happen for them at the end of turn. Unfortunately the way it is programmed the timing of affects are not in the players favor as they should be.

A potential solution could be: when the turns end, the game calculates the number of "end-of-turn actions" for each player. If there is only one, it is automatically resolved, if there are more, one link per action is given at the top of the screen (eg: like the potion of the ancients list) so the player may resolve actions 1 by 1 in the order he prefers.
As I said before, it looks more like a complete revision of the priority mechanism (concerning many cards, not just the horn of plenty), but it would be a (very?) pleasant improvement I think.

About orders of cards in Seasons, you can find below the current order of resolution at the end of the turn. This card order must always be with the BGA implementation of Seasons. We designed this order in collaboration with Libellud and the game designer. If anyone find some improvement to do in this list, please post it as a comment below and with an email to "contact@boardgamearena.com" so we can discuss it with the publisher. Thanks !
