The deck size is so incredibly massive in Ark Nova that I would argue it is essentially meaningless.

The discard pile size would be mildly interesting with Scavenging, but I am not sure it is important enough to report.

I totally agree about discard pile size. I would prefer deck size be there too.

Discard pile size is very important. Especially when I want to scavenge a card from my initial hand of 8 that I wasn't able to keep. If I want to keep 5 cards, I will discard one that I scavenge with my first or second animal played. As for location: it could be a small/hover over icon just to the left of the card row.

I don't believe that discard pile size adds any useful information ... If you know you discarded a card to the pile and you want it via scavenge then you know it is in there. And, the history has all the discarded cards in it anyway, so just do the addition.

JefHatch, if had a scavenge 3 the discard pile was 100,000 cards big and there was one card in it you might get, would your idea of how likely you were to draw it change?

What if it were 3 cards big and you had a scavenge 3 card?

In my opinion those two are absolutely relevant.

I think it would be important for players that have never played the table top to understand just how large of a pool of cards they are drawing from.

The size of the draw deck matters because it tells players how soon a reshuffle will occur, which could affect timing of and if they want to use Scaveging effects at all.

Bumping this one again...if it is a matter of space, the new graphics could be added here maybe:

Next to the conservation/appeal button that brings up the full scoring track modal. One icon and number for draw pile, one icon and number for discard pile. (or, 1 combined icon that has both numbers to save even more space)

I agree the sizes of the decks would be helpful and, as they are open information on real tables, they should be given here ls well. It is a very minor effort for programming; maybe with the upcoming addition of maps 11-14 + T1? (Scavenging then is on some maps, too!)

@devs. I have the horse whisperer sponsor. It lets me search the discard pile for a petting zoo animal. I know there are 9 in the deck. It's super annoying to not see the size of the discard pile to understand my chances.
