One time I was being silly and thought I was the opposite side, which would be less likely if I were usually blue. :)

Hey there!

Thanks for the report - yes, BGA will try (if requested) to give you the game colour that most closely matches your chosen colour.

The issue in your case is that blue is not one of the player colours in Bunny Kingdom! It has red, black, pink and yellow in the base game and then adds purple in the IN THE SKY expansion.

So, I'm afraid you won't see blue selected unless the game adds that as a colour in future!

I think there may be a bug here - at table #380779072 my opponent has yellow listed as their top preferred colour, and it's also listed as my third preferred colour. We've been given red and black.

Hey all,

Thanks for the heads up - I've found the issue that was preventing colour preferences from being honoured, and they should be working as of games started after the next update.

Although there still won't be any blue, I'm afraid!

All good. Just a warning (in case it's expected) that it's kind of a 1-to-1 match. That is, if your color preference is blue and there is no blue player option in the game (as in Bunny Kingdom), it doesn't say "oh well... purple is the next closest colour to blue, so we'll give you that".

It works simply by: anyone who has selected red, yellow, pink, purple or black (the colors supported by BK) as their preferred color will be matched. Everyone else will just get assigned randomly!
