We both experienced the problem at different times. It happened throughout our game. Refreshing didn't help.

I think this may be due to me not reading the rules well.

In another answer you wrote that a symbol needs to match the top card on a pile. Maybe this could come up as an error message if we click discard when nothing can be discarded, or if we click a card that cannot be discarded?

This indeed is a rules misunderstanding, but your last comment is valuable. It would be good to add an error message when clicking the button.

I'll leave this open until this is implemented.

there is nothing i can see in the rules that says one is not allowed to discard any particular card in a cooperative game. it says, during your turn you can discard or play. The interface says, you must play or discard, yet the discard button has been faded out my whole turn.

Discard button available during first and maybe second turn, not after that. In case that heros with reproducing it
