For me, the space between those buttons is perfect. Please be aware that in different languages the text might be wider, at some point exceeding screen width and causing a line break.

If that needs to be improved, I'd prefer a per-player setting "confirm to pass" which defaults to the current "no confirmation".

Agree. Moving the buttons helps the game experience more like IRL. So many games on BGA can be effected by misclicks, anything that can assist in the prevention of misclicks is very helpful.
I know Shifting Stones moved some of the buttons and it has really helped me on multiple occasions!

The order of the pass play button is reversed when playing bonus cards as opposed to playing a normal hand. The confirm button is usually on the right hand side of the menu bar but when playing bonus cards the pass button is on the right and I have misclicked about 6 times now.

PLEASE SWAP THE ORDER OF THE PASS AND CONFIRM BUTTONS WHEN PLAYING BONUS CARDS

OMG Yes please. this is so annoying, especially as there is no undo option

IMO best solution for "Pass button misclicked" is this:

It I select at least one card it clearly indicates my intention to play that card (or draw one card) and this "pass" button should be disabled. There is never situation to select card and then click pass.
If I didn't select any card I could click Pass button as usual.
