It's not impossible: there are effects that allow you to transfer communities. It presents a unique challenge of the sort players who picked the highest challenge settings might enjoy.

So this a 'feature' which in rare cases make you instant lost the game with 1 player.

I guess if you plan to let players draw multiples challenge cards ( boardgamearena.com/bug?id=91158 ), this will became much more a problem for solo games.

Is there anyway to prevent this scenario for Solo play only? I played a full game with this scenario and went through the deck using Clean Energy R+D and wasn't able to find a solution.

Another suggestion would be to remove the starting 'community in crisis' on solo when this scenario happens so that it becomes more of a 'prevent any community in crisis' scenario, because that might be interesting to play.

Agreed with previous comments, based on encountering this combination in a solo game (Daybreak #469344838): the combination of these two challenge cards in solo mode makes the game impossible, not just challenging. Would recommend adding a redraw option or automating a redraw for these two challenge cards in solo mode, in this specific case.

This seems rare but has recently happened to me several times. It really does need a fix. Either remove one of these cards in solo mode, or give the opportunity to mulligan one of them should the need arise.

Let the publisher know to issue an errata. We will no unilaterally change the game without a rules reference. The BGA implementation follows the rules as written.

We cycled through the deck multiple times trying to find (e.g.) Inclusive Immigration and never saw it. So I think this is actually impossible.

@Sharur, are you implying the cards simply don't exist in the game? That's clearly false. More likely, you've tucked those cards under other projects or crises. They definitely still exist in the game.

Regardless, the response stands. We will not unilaterally change the game without an official rules reference. The BGA implementation follows the rules as written.
